Hi.

It’s been like blizarding today. If someone could enlighten me as to wtf is going on that would be awesome.

The past few weeks we’ve had some really nice fall temps. It’s been in the 60’s, a few rainy days but mostly pretty nice. It’s been awesome! Then, all of the sudden it’s 35 and snowing. How is that even possible?? Usually it doesn’t start getting this cold until like December or even January.

Travis is here from Florida this weekend. And the second he stepped off the plane this morning, it started snowing. So obviously I blame him.

At the same time however, the Floridian in me is still pretty excited… until I try to go out in it.

This is the snow from the blizzard last Wednesday night. It’s all still there. Some of these pics are from the half of Washington Square Park that’s closed for renovation. That’s why it’s untouched.

This is video from Wednesday morning when I was on my way to my NBC orientation. This was the very beginning of the storm. The 19 inches of snow that followed is what led to our snow day today :)

Today was supposed to be the first day of my Intermediate Narrative (Color Sync) Production class. It was supposed to go from 9:30-4:45.

And then it snowed.

19 inches of snow yesterday and last night means NYU cancelled school today for only the second time since the 90’s! And it couldn’t have come on a better day either.

Thanks mother nature! Snow days are so much more fun than the hurricane days I grew up with in the Sunshine State. 

^That was the view out of my window this morning when it was lightly snowing while I hid from the cold inside all day.

It was actually a good 30 degrees warmer today than it was yesterday. That only made it 36 degrees, and it’s a sad day when 36 degrees is warm, but it was much nicer. That is, when I finally left the apartment at 7:30pm, hah.

Another snow storm is coming tomorrow, though.

It snowed in 49 states yesterday. Florida was the only state in the whole country that didn’t get any snow, and it was somehow 80 degrees haha. We’re down to 58 today though. Chilly ;)

Yayyy it was snowing out tonight.

What a perfect way to say Merry Christmas now get out of here and go to Florida where it will be 79 this weekend :)
